[Inside there are two things, a small bag of chocolates and a personalized chess set!

Alice's chocolates are shaped like snowflakes and they are mildly spicy with a hint of cinnamon. Arrakis doesn't know Korra well yet but castlemates are like family to him and cinnamon is a comforting flavor for Arrakis.

Her chess set is made of clear crystal to resemble ice. The squares themselves are solid white and clear, with painted waves on the solid white squares. (all he knows is she's from a water tribe and has a polar bear dog so he went with a water and ice theme) The pieces mirror the board, with clear pieces and solid white ones. Arrakis debated for a long time which color would be considered black for chess and he eventually settled on the clear pieces so he carved his initials, AF, on the bottom of one of the clear knights.]

Gift Delivery

[Delivered to Korra's door by a giant owl is a box. Should she open it there it is filled with goodies to help survive the winter. There are two candles, one made of beeswax, bright and yellow, another is scented with cinnamon, orange, and pine. Next to the honey wand is a whole jar of honey that came from Aurora's bees, much like the beeswax honey. But it's not just honey and nuts, there is a sweet treat as well. Raspberry tarts are wrapped up safely to ensure they do not crumble.

In the box is a letter with elegant handwriting:]

Warmest and Joyous Yule Greetings to you, Korra.
May this help get you through winter to spring's awakening.

[On Christmas morning, Korra will find at her door a delicate portrait of Jasmine and Aladdin's blue dragon, as he was when Korra met him. With the painting is a card inside a wax-sealed envelope with Korra's name scribed in elegant cursive on the front, in both Roman and Persian (کورا) alphabet. The card's message reads:]

Korra,

Thank you for everything you've done, both here and back home with keeping the peace. I remember how much you loved meeting Little Guy, since you rarely ever see dragons, so here's a token of that moment for you.

Let's meet again soon so I can see your own companion, Naga. I'll even bring Rajah!

[Which is absolutely to be expected, which is one reason that Naga is already waiting, and immediately thunders over with a big whuff sound. The scent is right, just...smaller.]

[ She just holds her arms out in big T pose before she's bowled over and caught beneath the fluff, all but disappearing from Korra's view as the large dog-bear engulfs her in fluff and licks. Giggling and laughing can be heard. ]

[ Grim humour is very much her thing. She reaches up when Naga lifts, ruffling into the fur with her hands.

For just a bit she actually looks like a kid having fun?! Not something many people are used to. ]

I was wondering if you could help me with something. It's kind of personal. You don't have to if you don't want to, but it would be a big help, and I'm not sure I could do it as well by myself.

I want to try to get my bending back, and to honor the traditions that come with it. And I haven't done really done it since I got my tattoos, but I think it will help me to make the connection that I need.

I want to shave my head, could you help me?

Christmas Gifts!

On the night of the 24th the quiet flapping of wings could be heard outside as Arrakis delivered his gifts. He didn’t have his wind magic anymore so he couldn’t silence his approach completely as he quietly placed a box next to the door. He stifled a small shiver. By the goddess it got cold at night. He had more gifts to deliver though so he turned to leave. If you are fast you might catch him before he takes to the skies again.

Inside the box is a card written in fancy calligraphy:

Inside the box is a small bag of homemade chocolates shaped like a wave. The chocolates have a hint of cinnamon and a medium amount of spice this year.

It's touching to receive any gift, especially in dark days. And she's going to eat those entirely more quickly than she should. But hey, Avatar metabolism, right?

But that does mean reciprocation - so!

She'll make her way over and leave a rather nice bottle of the local wine on his doorstep, along with...well, she doesn't leave a card, but she does craft what is obvious a little snow-Korra. Not a good one, but hey! And it's holding a little ice heart with 'thk u' cut into it with a little dash of firebending.

If you're going to use your skills, might as well use them for fun every now and again.

The snow Korra is so cute! Arrakis makes a snow fort to protect the precious snow sculpture. He was freezing by the time he retreated inside, but he wasn't too cold to send Korra a thank you message for the wine and the cute gift.

[ There's something in the air that makes her uncomfortable, even though she said she'd be there soon. A certain smell. It's canine and everywhere. The cat's shoulders hunch, leaning forwards with a small twitch of her tail to glance around, arms dangling and ready to spring.

She takes a slow breath, then knocks on the door. ]

Hello?

[She opens the door a moment later, a smile on her face]

Hey, right on time. C'mon in, we're set up on the patio at the back.

And in passing the living room, Catra will undoubtedly notice the sleeping mountain of fur that is Naga.

"She's sleeping," Korra remarks, "but she loves making new friends. So if she wakes up, she'll definitely want to say hi."

"Hey- What's with-..."

She blinks, slowing down and tensing as she passes the dog... That was the smell, yeah. Her eyes narrow, stepping silently as she passes that room,only speaking once they're past.

"Yeeeah... I'd rather not." She's here for food not dog smothering! Anyway, onwards to food, right? She's not a huge talker sometimes.

She pushes open the two doors to the patio, where a small fire pit resides. There is no fire, at least not yet.

But a gesture of her hand, and a gout of flame lights the wood beneath the small grill she's set up.

"Right, so," she says - "Preferences? I've got beef, fish, and what I'm pretty sure is pork."

Nearby is a tray with mixed vegetables and such to taste with it, and some cheeses.
